Inanna Giovanna At the first few listens, I took the lyrics too literally and thought it was about a kidnap and a murder. But then the real meaning became apparent to me after listening several times. An excellent song with a beautifully dark story, fantastic vocals and sound, and very original. Favorite track: "Hey, Little Fawn...".

lyrics

Hey little fawn..
Someone's after your mom
Coming out with a gun...
Pointed right at her face

She was just a suburban child..
on an episode of mom's gone wild.

The thrill of sirens on a rainy street.
She throws her head back and tears mix with sleet.
She's so happy when she's outside.
She's going fast but, she don't even have a ride.

Hey little fawn
someone's gotten your mom
Having fun with a gun
Shooting right on her face.

Then she walked into the woods...
Just looking for one thing....

The thrill to be hottie on main street...
The pavements hot and its burning into her feet
She's fucking free when she's outside.
She's running fast and she don't even need a ride.

Hey little fawn someones after your mom.
Parading out in the world..
parading out as Bambi.
Bambi's in the headlights
Batting those lashes.
Bambi's gonna Sell it.... Sell it!

Her Mommies told stories before
Now she's living them more and more...
